A group of Washington state farmers have joined two environmental groups in filing a lawsuit to block a proposed feedlot from using a well that is exempt from requiring state permits to water up to 30,000 cattle.

There is tons of advice out there that says that water retaining crystals are not only effective, that they are "green" too. However, there is research that says that polyacrylamide - what most crystals are made of - become carcinogenic as they break down.
